General Info
The Photron Fastcam BC-2 is designed for High Definition, High Speed video capture. It is capable of resolutions of upto 2048×2048 pixels making it possible to shoot 2k 2:1 resolutions, and scaleable to a full 16:9 2k resolutions with little to no visual impact on quality. As with most all high speed video cameras the Photron utilizes an internal memory that is continually writing each frame once the camera is armed and in continuos record mode. Memory capacities can be upgrade to enable longer record times. Currently there is a 16GB 32GB and 64 GB model available. In comparison to other High Speed HD Cameras like the Phantom, the Photron BC-2 is on par in quality as well as performance. There are very little differences between all of the leading High Speed HD video Cameras. The Photron BC-2 is designed for Commercial and Theatrical work and will not leave you wanting. However if you are firm on using a phantom we are partnered with several distributers and can generally get you a better price then if you were to go on your own.
