The Oracle Controller, recently upgraded with the v2.06.2SL SmartLapse software, is the ultimate multi-function controller for use with Kessler’s line of electronic products.  The ORACLE Control System is interchangeable between the REVOLUTION Pan / Tilt System and the elektraDRIVE Series 500 motor pod for the CineSlider and Shuttle Pod.

The functionality of the Oracle Controller centers around a  joystick that commands speed of dolly move, dampening and dead band.  There are three User Buttons for quick access to the most complicated or simplest recorded movements so that you can repeat them over and over without concern of variance in the camera/dolly part of the production!   The Oracle Controller is powered with a standard power supply or a long lasting brick battery.   *The new menu layout also shows a battery meter.

This newest version of software in the Oracle Controller has created endless possibilities with assignable joystick controls, SmartLapse Timelapse mode.  It also features 2nd axis control while in “Slider” Mode, which means you can control slide AND one axis of the Revolution Head with ONE Oracle Controller.

Note:  there is a built-in intervalometer in the Oracle Controller that is capable of 0.25 sec exposure time for fast shutter (if camera can support the frame rate).  It requires a separate Camera Control Module which will be offered at Ron Hill Imagery in the future.   Using that accessory, you can access stand alone, continuous motion, shoot-move-shoot, & stop motion modes.
