Uncompressed, Wireless HD video anywhere.The Cam-Wave HD IDX CW-5HD is a high bandwidth wireless video transmitter/receiver system. It is designed to stream an uncompressed wireless HD or SD video signal up to 150 feet per unit. You may also connect multiple units for longer distances. We currently have four sets that can be linked together. Thats up to 600 feet of wireless uncompressed HD Video transmission.
The Cam Wave HD uses the industry standard SDI or HD-SDI, with BNC connections, so it will work with most any professional HD Video Camera. The transmitter uses a V-Mount series battery adapter or can operate off DC power through a 3-Pin XLR input. We also have Anton Bauer adapter plates for running AB type batteries, like the Dionic 90, 160 or our new ultra light weight B4B Lithium ion batteries. The transmitting unit can be seamlessly attached between the camera and battery and weighs in at a little under 2lbs, 
so it really doesn’t add much weight. It is also slim enough (approx 2 in.) as to not add to much additional bulk. The wireless HD receiver can be plugged into any, SDI or HD-SDI compatible monitor, or any other SDI, HD-SDI compatible device. For example you could use it with most any HD recording deck or camera. In Addition, the uncompressed transmitted signal can use 256-bits of encryption, keeping your video private and safe during the entire transmission.
The Cam-Wave HD IDX CW-5HD is an excellent solution if you want wireless SDI/HD-SDI monitoring. To set it up is very easy, simply plug in your video signal and turn it on. It is the perfect solution for keeping your set free of wires and uncluttered. Other uses suggested include, eng camera monitoring, client side Stedi-Cam monitoring, vehicle to vehicle monitoring, eternal vehicle camera mount monitoring, and really any other type of monitoring were you don’t want or cant use wires. You can even use multiple cameras with transmitters at the same time. We have operated 4 cameras wireless, simultaneously without any signals getting stepped on.
